Wildfire Update - A Note from the Owners

Dear friends of Napa Valley Lodge,

Thank you to everyone who has called, emailed and texted your concerns and best wishes this past week.

Our beloved Wine Country has been a tragic scene this week, and we are grieving for those throughout Napa and Sonoma Counties who have lost lives, homes, and businesses.  While some of our team have lost their homes and many more have been displaced from their communities, we are grateful that none of them have suffered personal injury or loss of life.

The first responders, police and fire men and women have been true heroes, and the Lodge and the downtown of Yountville remain undamaged by the fires.

For the first time since we opened the Lodge almost 40 years ago, we are locking our front doors and temporarily closing the property so that our associates may attend to their personal matters and support their friends and families in need.

We are re-opening our doors at noon on Friday, October 20, and look forward to welcoming back our many loyal and supportive guests and friends.

Thank you all for your concern and kindness.

With heartfelt appreciation,

The Alden Family and Napa Valley Lodge team

P.S.  We have established a donation page to support our Woodside Hotels’ associates who have lost their residences in these fires. If you wish to assist them to rebuild their lives, you may donate here:

We’re proud of the press the Napa Valley Lodge has received over the years. If you would like more information about our Yountville hotel, please contact:
