Harvest in Napa Valley is a season like no other—a time when vineyards come alive, grapes reach their peak, and the valley celebrates its rich bounty. September offers a variety of ways to experience this special season.

At Trefethen Family Vineyards on Saturday, September 13, guests can join the harvest team for grape picking, explore the estate on an in-depth vineyard tour, and savor an al fresco lunch beneath a centuries-old walnut tree. The day continues with a behind-the-scenes look at winemaking and a tasting of Trefethen’s current releases.

Historic charm and lively community spirit set the tone for the Bale Grist Mill Harvest Dinner & Auction on Saturday, September 20. Guests enjoy a gourmet dinner from Oak Avenue Catering, live music by The Silverado Pickups, and a spirited auction supporting Napa Valley’s State Parks.

Peju Winery celebrates with two opportunities to celebrate: Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 28, with a family-style lunch followed by a playful grape stomp. Reynolds Family Winery joins the fun on Saturday, September 27, with live-fire pizza, rare library wines, and another grape-stomping adventure.

From hands-on vineyard experiences to festive meals and playful traditions, harvest season in Napa Valley is a true celebration of the land, the wines, and the community.
